The Brief
Kitewood wanted to create a development that reflected the character and calm of village living, whilst still offering modern open-plan spaces suited to contemporary family life.
The kitchens within the Chestfield, Whitstable development needed to feel natural, welcoming and practical, complementing the open-plan kitchen dining areas and supporting the overall aesthetic of the homes.
The Approach
Lorien designed a collection of shaker-style kitchens using a carefully selected palette of natural colours, allowing buyers the flexibility to personalise their space through a choice of finishes and worktops.
The kitchens were showcased within Kitewood’s fully fitted marketing suite, helping buyers visualise the warmth and practicality of the finished homes.
Each kitchen included a range of integrated appliances as standard, including:
• Double oven
• Induction hob
• Dishwasher
• Fridge freezer
Integrated washing machines were also available where utility rooms were not included within the property layout.
The Result
Kitewood’s vision of offering a variety of thoughtfully designed homes was reflected throughout the individually designed kitchens created by Lorien.
The finished spaces successfully balanced practicality, longevity and timeless style, creating kitchens and utility areas designed to support modern living for couples and families alike for many years to come.
